To help you better, here is a step by step guide on how to add a new company profile on Eqvista.
Once you have logged into your account, you would either be directed to a page to create a company profile or to select a company profile you have already created.
Now let us assume that you already have a company profile and want to create a new one. In this case, once you login, you would be directed to the following page.
Here, you will see the company profiles that you have. And at the end of all the profiles, you will see an option that says “New Company” with a “Plus Sign (+)” above it.
Click on this, and you will reach the first step towards the creation of a new company profile.
Step 2: Regardless of if you have just logged into your account or you have clicked on the option to create a “New Company” as shown in the previous image, you will be directed to the following page.
In this step, you need to add in all the details of your company including the company name, the company type, the incorporation date, and the country of origin. Once you have added in all these details, click on “Save and Continue”.
Step 3: After you click on Save, you will be directed to the next step.
Here, you will have to add in the details like the total number of shares that have been authorized to the company and the price of the shares at that time. After filling in the details, select “Save and Continue” to move to the next step.
Step 4: In the next step, you will get the option to choose if you are the founder or not. By selecting either yes or no, you will then have to add in some information about the founder. We would explain both the possibilities below in detail:
Assuming that you selected “Yes” for the question – “Are you the founder?” the following drop down page would appear. Here, you will see your email and name already added in the spaces provided for your email and name. You cannot edit these two fields as it is based on what you added when creating the profile.
Other than your email and name, you will also have to add in the details like the Date of issuance of shares, the number of shares you have been issued, the price of the shares on the day of issuance, and the share certificate name (certificate number).
Once you have added all the details, you can click on “Save and Continue”.
Now let us say that you are not the founder of the company and select the option “No” for the question – “Are you the founder?” the following drop down page would appear. Here, you will need to select the option “Add a Founder” for the form to appear.
Once you select the option to “Add a Founder”, the drop down form will appear as shown below.
Here, add in the details of the founder like the email ID, the first and last name, the date of issuance of the shares, the number of shares issued, the price of the shares when it was issued and the share name (share certificate number). Once you have added all these, you can click on “Save and Continue” to final the company profile formation and move to the dashboard.
If you want to add more founders in the company, you can click on the “Add a Founder” option at the end of the form and fill in the desired details in the new drop down form that appears. Like this, you can add in as many founders as you want before you click on “Save and Continue”.

Now, after you have added everything that you wish to add click on “Save and Continue”.
Step 5: As soon as you click on “Save and Continue”, the company’s profile would be created and you will be directed to the main dashboard of the company as shown below.
